In September 2005 I spent a week documenting Coldstones quarry in Pateley Bridge, Yorkshire with writer Tom Fletcher. We had a chance to explore the working quarry, meet the lovely people who work there and spend some time with geologists who continue to study the quarry.
During our stay at Number 6 Studio we made work in response to the quarry and showed it in the exhibition We Build Mountains at Number 6 in November 2005.
